Most plumbers treat Lowry like the rest of east Denver. It is not the same neighborhood at all. Lowry sits on the footprint of the former Lowry Air Force Base, which closed in 1994. Residents moved into the first new homes in April 1998, and roughly 4,500 of them went up across nearly 1,900 acres. That history creates a very specific plumbing profile.
A home built in 1999 or 2003 is not a historic property. It is also no longer new.
